Public information: Registered users may be allowed to add content to Site including but not limited to the posting of messages in our forum section, the posting of comments in our news stories section, and/or the publishing of information to their user profile in our forum section ("UA Content"). HVN may make all such UA Content available to the general public and your username may be publicly displayed and your IP address may be logged in our database. For the avoidance of doubt and to the extent allowable by law, all UA Content shall be solely owned by HVN.
  • The public information you post is used to foster communication amongst members of our site.
  • Your IP address and username are used to prevent abuse.
  • If you are concerned about our use of UA Content, please limit the amount of public information you disclose about yourself in your posts and your public forum profile.
  • When registering for our site, please choose a username that does not reveal more private information about yourself than you would like to reveal.
How do we protect your information?
We have reasonable security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not willingly collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 18 years old or older.
California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at anytime by logging into their account and visiting the edit my profile page.
